Student Art Featured at KSBA Conference

During the past weekend, the Kentucky School Boards Association (KSBA) held their annual conference at the Galt House in Louisville.  At the event, school districts had the opportunity to display student art projects from their students. Each year there is a theme to go along with the art projects, and this year’s theme was educate, equip, and empower.

Representatives from the Russell County Board of Education approached some RCHS Art students and asked them to make a banner for the conference to represent Russell County. The students on the project were Elizabeth Ackerman, Kelsey McFarland, Alex Davis, and Madison Swords.  Their banner, which received great acclaim, is pictured above.  Congratulations to our students!
